Initial Consultation
This is a 15-minute appointment
where we will discuss your needs and wants, and make sure we are a good fit for each other.
Application
I will need your loan application and documents to get a full picture of your financial situation.
Pre-Approval
When you have completed the application and submitted your documents, I will review everything and determine what you qualify for.
Home Shopping
Once you’re Pre-Approved, you can look at houses and submit offers on homes you like!
Under Contract
If a seller accepts your offer, you are Under Contract! This is when we begin the loan process and you start inspections on the home.
Disclosure Review
You have a lot of documents to sign, and you will want to know what your payment, loan terms, & fees are! We will take about an hour to review everything and answer any questions you may have
Processing
The processor will review your contract, documentation, and all necessary paperwork. They will order your appraisal and prepare your file for underwriting.
Underwriting
I call the underwriters our “Mortgage Gods” - they are the ones who approve or deny your loan! Don’t worry - when you get pre-approved with me, I make sure you won’t be denied.
Appraisal
At some point between processing and closing, an appraisal will be completed. This is to make sure you are paying the right price for your home.
Closing
Once all the paperwork is done, we go to closing. You will sign lots of paperwork, the paperwork is recorded with your county, and you will officially be a homeowner!
Celebration
You bought a house!!! This is cause for celebration. Have a dance party, invite your friends over, or enjoy a beverage with your pup in your new back yard. You did it!
